Welcome to St. David of Wales Catholic School —
Where Faith Inspires Learning!

We are thrilled that you’re considering joining our vibrant community! At St. David of Wales, education is more than just academics — it’s a journey of faith, friendship, and discovery. Our admissions process is designed to welcome families who value strong academics, spiritual growth, and a supportive, close-knit school environment. Below, you will find everything you need to get started on becoming part of something truly special.

  • Preschool (Ages 3–4)

To be eligible for Preschool enrollment, children must be at least 2 years and 9 months old at the time of entry and fully toilet trained — meaning they can use the restroom independently without adult assistance.

We understand that some children may still be in the process of toilet training. If your child is not yet fully trained but you're interested in our Preschool Program, we encourage you to reach out to our Preschool Director, Calista Dunn, at cdunn@csdo.org to discuss your options.

An official birth certificate as proof of age must be presented at the time of registration

    • To be admitted into Transitional Kindergarten (PreK), children must be four (4) years old by September 1st.

    • To enroll in Kindergarten at St. David School, children must be five (5) years old on or before September 1st of the current school year. This age requirement helps ensure that our students are developmentally ready to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally in our full-day Kindergarten program.

An official birth certificate as proof of age must be presented at the time of registration

  • To be eligible for First Grade at St. David School, students must be six (6) years old on or before September 1 of the current school year.

This guideline ensures students are ready to build on their foundational skills and confidently take the next step in their academic journey.

An official birth certificate as proof of age must be presented at the time of registration.

  • At St. David School, we strive to place students where they can thrive academically, socially, and spiritually. For applicants entering Grades 1 through 8, we evaluate academic readiness through the following:

    • Recent report cards

    • Teacher recommendations

    • Entrance assessment (exam) to ensure appropriate grade placement and alignment with our curriculum

Entrance assessments (exams) are typically scheduled in February prior to the upcoming school year. Families will be contacted to arrange a convenient testing date.

  • While we warmly welcome families of all faith backgrounds, St. David of Wales Catholic School is deeply rooted in Catholic teachings and values.

As part of our commitment to nurturing the whole child, all students participate in:

    • School-wide Masses

    • Daily prayer

    • Faith-based service projects

Families are expected to support and respect our religious education program as an essential part of the student experience and school community.
