St. David Preschool – Admission Policy
St. David Preschool is a parish-based early childhood education program founded to support the families of St. David Parish. While our primary mission is to serve the children of our parish community, we also recognize our broader responsibility to the surrounding community. In this spirit of mission and outreach, we welcome applications from all families, regardless of parish affiliation.
We are committed to providing an inclusive and supportive environment for all children. No qualified child will be denied admission to St. David Preschool on the basis of:
Race, Color, Gender, Disability, Ancestry, Religion, or National origin
Our admission process is guided by principles of fairness and developmental appropriateness. When evaluating applications, and when all other factors are equal, a child's developmental readiness will be the primary consideration for placement.
We believe that every child deserves a nurturing and developmentally appropriate start to their educational journey, and we strive to make our preschool accessible, welcoming, and respectful of the diverse backgrounds and needs of all families.

Preschool (Ages 3–4)
To be eligible for Preschool enrollment, children must be at least 2 years and 9 months old at the time of entry and fully toilet trained — meaning they can use the restroom independently without adult assistance.
We understand that some children may still be in the process of toilet training. If your child is not yet fully trained but you're interested in our Preschool Program, we encourage you to reach out to our Preschool Director, Calista Dunn, at cdunn@csdo.org to discuss your options.
An official birth certificate as proof of age must be presented at the time of registration
